From debut at international exhibitions to European supermarket shelves

The owner and CEO of the company, Eduard Krychfalushiy, together with his team, has grown from a regular Ukrainian honey trade to a powerful brand that successfully competes in the global market. Today, the company's products are available in almost all retail chains in Ukraine. BIOFACH 2024: debut on the international market

After six years of attending the exhibition as a visitor, in 2024 the company presented its products for the first time at the world's largest organic food and beverage exhibition BIOFACH. According to Eduard Kricfalushii, participation in the event is an opportunity not only to make a name for oneself, but also to become a leader in the industry.

“We have been preparing for this for over 10 years. This is not just our first participation — we wanted to be leaders and get a result that meets our ambitions,” the entrepreneur said.

During the exhibition days, the company signed a number of contracts with German and Scandinavian partners. The company is confident that continued cooperation in these markets can bring significant profits measured in hundreds of thousands of dollars.

“We will continue to work and develop new product categories. Our goal is not just to be present in the market, but to actively develop it,” adds Eduard Krychfalushii.

 

GastroNord exhibition in Stockholm: new horizons for Ukrainian honey

In the spring of 2024, Med Ukrainy under the Organic Export brand took part in GastroNord 2024 for the first time, presenting its products at the Collective Stand of Ukraine. This is the leading international exhibition in Northern Europe for food producers and buyers from HoReCa and retail, which annually attracts more than 7,400 professional visitors from around the world.

The company showcased its products in a highly competitive market and established new promising contacts with partners from Norway and Sweden. As a result, Organic Export products are now available on the shelves of supermarkets in these countries.

 

Innovations in honey processing and plans for the future

The company wants Ukrainian consumers to feel the difference between honey from Cherkasy, Polissya, or Sumy regions, just as they feel the difference between wines from France or Chile.

“Ukrainian honey deserves to become a business card of our country on the world stage, and we work every day to achieve this goal,” said Eduard Krychfalushiy, CEO of Med Ukrainy.
